Welcome Brier community to the 2020-2021 school year. The beginning go of this year will be like no other in recent history as all students in Fremont Unified will be distance learning. Although this platform will look very different, our entire staff is passionate about the diverse learning opportunities that lie ahead. Our dedicated teachers, support staff and administration will continue to ensure high levels of learning in a safe and positive environment, (even though the environment is currently at home). Our commitment to excellence, embracing high expectations for ALL, holding students and ourselves accountable and embracing Brier PRIDE, character education, scholarly habits and restorative practices is what propels our school toward continuous success. We are committed to ensuring all students reach their academic and affective potential. It is because of the aforementioned that Brie was the proud recipient of the 2015-2016 California Gold Ribbon Award of Excellence and Gold Ribbon Award of Excellence for Title 1 schools.

Providing a safe and healthy learning and social environment is our number one priority. Thus, we work tirelessly to impart the importance of showing respect, making good decisions and problem solving. This promotes ownership, self-esteem, and positive character and teaches life skills that are imperative to success. We are proud to be a green school where recycling and composting is part of our daily routine.

At Brier we recognize the importance establishing a partnership between home and school. With distance learning, this will be crucial to the success of your child.  Each family plays an integral role in their child’s education. Research indicates that when families engage in their child’s education, there is a greater likelihood of reaching academic success. As students see their parents taking an interest in learning activities and participating in school activities, they grasp the importance of school. Thus, we welcome parent volunteers and encourage all parents to become active participants in their child’s education. We are looking forward to another year of celebrating our students’ growth and successes.

Let’s show our Bronco PRIDE and make Brier the absolute BEST school it can be!
