Welcome to first grade! I can't wait to get to know each of you throughout the year! If you haven't already done so, please fill out this survey to help me get to know you.
Here's a little bit about me: I was born and raised in Fremont, where I attended Blacow Elementary, Walters Jr. High, and graduated from Kennedy High School. After obtaining my bachelor's degree from UCLA, I decided pursue a multiple subjects credential and Masters in Education from UCLA. I taught Los Angeles Unified for two years before I made the move back to the Bay Area. I had a wonderful experience in Fremont Unified, so I am so happy to have the opportunity to help foster similar experiences for our students at Brier. I have taught and worked in grades ranging from K-6, and am so excited to be working in First Grade. I love working with children, and my passion is engaging young scholars in work around social justice. When I'm not at school, I'm often running, reading, or enjoying time around the Bay Area with my family and friends.
