Mrs. Pineda

Greetings! My name is Mrs. Pineda. This is my eighth year teaching and my sixth year at Brier Elementary. This will be my 14th year in education- previously, I taught third grade at a private school and before that I was a teacher's assistant and tutor.  In 2014, I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Master of Arts in Teaching. In 2018, I had the honor of being nominated Teacher of the Year at Brier Elementary and moved on as top 5 finalist for Fremont Unified School District.

Teaching has always been a passion. When I'm not in the classroom you can find me reading fantasy/science fiction novels, tending my garden, snowboarding, camping, or hiking. My husband and I love the great outdoors! We have one toddler now 15 months.

My role as an educator is to always inspire young, inquisitive minds. It will be an exciting school year full of curiosity and innovation. Thank you for visiting our classroom page!
